Change of pace...
As I'm preparing to go Upstate to open the cottage, I haven't found a lot of time to sew. I had this bag cut out so I quickly sewed it together. It's made from vintage barkcloth...just a good carryall.
And here are my newest Lilly Pulitzer fabrics....I found them on ebay. LOVE the colors and patterns.

Love the bark cloth. I've got a bit of vintage cloth and now I know what to do with it besides pillows and piecing. Thanks for the inspiration.
Marcia.....I'm delighted to find your blog. Had coffee/tea with Deborah this morning in Williamstown.....and she reminded me. She's been so inspired she's making your bag now!!!! I signed up for class with Jean Wells in November. Also found new quiltshop on way back in South Egremont MA called Brookside Quiltworks........ We drove to Vt. Quilt show up through Adirondacks and then back down Route 7 most of the way.............met owner of Log Cabin Quilts near Hudson River Valley b&b and found that Londa and I knew each other from the 80's and vending at Quilting by the Lake!!!! Small world.....just like meeting you again. Loved seeing all of Nancy Halpern's quilts at the Vt. show........hope to hear from you. cesch1941@gmail.com
